The Ratlings are a people that inhabit parts of Strefyr.

They are a clever and mechanically minded race in general and have a natural affinity and competition with the gnomes.

There are different groups, one of which are the stevedores. These are the water friendly folk and they run the ferry between the east and west sides of the river since the bridge is not in operation.
